Newport News Shipbuilding apprenticeship graduate with an A.S. in Computer Engineering and an A.S. in Computer Science. 15 years of professional and practical experience has solidified his skills across various platforms worldwide. A master at coding measurement plans for process automation in large scale manufacturing and fabrication operations. Versed in robotics through robotic calibration and accuracy and repeatability checks. Whether shipboard on marine watercraft, at NASA for aerospace, or in a manufacturing plant, his practical application is superb.
Sara G. Ruggles
Graduate of the Newport News Shipbuilding apprenticeship program in 2015 in dimensional control. Earning her Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology in 2021, she has melded her practical knowledge with her didactic education to become an exemplary metrologist. 12 years in the industry has honed her expertise in marine watercraft, aerospace, manufacturing, and first article inspections.
